We’ve been raised to avoid taking risks, to look always for a comfort zone and live inside a bubble of safety, which lead us to deep comformism, domination by our fears and giving up our dreams and goals at the first setback or failure looking for our comfort zones again and tasting the bitterness of unfulfillment and negative self talk.
Have you ever felt dominated by your fears and your limitation mindset?
We’ve all experienced that, I guess!
So when I feel unmotivated or reluctant to act on my goals and aspirations I try to journal about that in order to give myself a fresh restart and a dose of resilience. Based on a tip from Brendon BURCHARD’s book «High Performance Habits» the well-renowned coach talks about motivating yourself using the second person, so you hold yourself accountable for the work you MUST do, or the mindset shift you should adopt so that you take massive action without any dread of failure or risk.
I am going to share with you a chunk of my journaling sessions about that:
. « What you need to do (Jawad), but what’s a must-do is to believe wholeheartedly in yourself and your abilities. You must believe that you have a valuable gift to give to the world, people around you and all the human kind. You must forget about all the hurdles and obstacles holding you back from going further and pursuing your journey to success and fullfilment.
You can be rich, you can be wealthy, successful, good father, entrepreneur and a good person helping and sharing with others and whatever you aspire to.
Please (Jawad), get rid of your negative thoughts. God WHO created the universe could easily give you a small part of that huge universe. God created you to be happy and fullfiled, He dosn’t want you to suffer at all, He just wants you to believe, to work and to be grateful for whatever He gives you.
So, smile, think and dream big, know that everything is «figuroutable» (the precious lesson from Marie FORLEO), seek motivation and advice and be bold and badass.
You will certainly achieve your goals and reach success.»
By doing that I try to remind myself that the best is outside of my comfort zone, that fear is the product of my imagination and excuses I keep looping into my mind, mentalblocks I keep building to hold me back from going further, and above all I try to remember Henry FORD’s famous quote:’’Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, YOU ARE RIGHT’’.

Great i really enjoyed reading
